Welcome to Just-in Time to be Kind

Just-in Time to be Kind is a very special book about a normal boy who had the ability to see people in need around him and immediately take action to help them. His mother tells him it’s his Superpower because not everyone is intentionally looking for ways to spread kindness. She guides him through a normal day of errands as he encounters people all around him in need. His superpower of finding ways he can help them always kicks in just at the right time, making him Just-in Time to be Kind.

Michele Hornsby conceived the idea for the book after her son, Justin, died in 2017 from suicide. Deep in her grief she grasped to find happier, and more joy filled memories of her son. Just-in Time to be Kind is a brief reflection on Justin as a boy and how he truly always acted on every opportunity he saw to help others. Michele hopes to spread his message of intentional kindness through inviting others to join Justin’s Journey of Kindness. It is her hope and prayer Justin’s journey will travel worldwide.   Ensuring Justin’s legacy as a truly kind and beautiful brown eyed boy.
